Who we are

About We Work For Children

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving children and families, beginning in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Our mission

We Work For Children (WWFC) is a charitable organization with the mission of building a bridge to equity by providing sought-after resources and unique opportunities to children and families from diverse backgrounds.

Why families, too

Over a career in education spanning decades, our founder realized that the help she can provide to children is greatly impeded if she does not also help — and gain the trust of — their families. That is why she started We Work For Children. We are building a one-stop shop for children and their families: our programs, training sessions, webinars, and print materials will not be limited to sports, finances, or education. We are building this organization to meet every need we can — starting slow, but strong.

Our founder
